I am
undecided which term to use regarding the current FBI situation. Do I compare
the actions of the FBI to the KGB, or is the Gestapo a better comparison? Both
of them were known for their ruthless persecution of innocent people that were simply
identified by the government as undesirables. However, the Gestapo was
instrumental in the deliberate effort to exterminate the Jews. Since, as far as
I can see, the current FBI is not pursuing actual extermination of
conservatives who support Trump, then the KGB may be the best comparison.
It is
crystal-clear that the leaders of the FBI conspired to derail the Trump
presidential campaign, and then when that failed, they have continued to misuse
their power in an attempt to derail the Trump presidency. The current
investigation by Mueller was initiated without the existence of probable cause.
There never was any factual evidence that President Trump committed any
impeachable offense, much less any evidence of a crime. The entire
investigation is without merit, and has produced zero evidence of any
wrongdoing by Trump. As such, any information obtained during this special
investigation is “tainted” and should be thrown out. The gang of thugs that
Mueller has brought together to participate in the ongoing witch hunt are exemplified
by Andrew Weissman, who should have lost his law license many years in the
past. They are using threats, intimidation, and other unethical techniques to
manufacture fabricated charges against anyone associated with President Trump.
The latest misuse of their power was the invasion of Mr Cohen’s right to client/lawyer
confidentiality as President Trump’s lawyer. The FBI is claiming that they will
separate ‘confidential’ information confiscated and will safeguard it. Hogwash.
I think that one of the reasons for this search was to obtain ‘related’
confidential information for further misuse of power by the FBI.
More
evidence of the FBI acting as Gestapo is their stonewalling requests for
information by congress. Congress has constitutional oversight power of the
FBI, and requests for documents by Congress should be fulfilled immediately by
the FBI by providing fully unredacted documents or documents with nearly zero
redactions. Instead, the FBI is refusing to provide documents requested, or the
documents provided are so grossly redacted as to be meaningless. The FBI is demonstrating
a total disregard for congressional requests. The only conclusion is that the
FBI is now a rogue political instrument being used by high-level FBI employees
to pursue strictly political goals with total disregard for law.
Consequentially,
the Mueller investigation should be terminated immediately since it was begun
without legal merit, and was tainted from the very beginning. Additionally, all
FBI personnel who are impeding congressional requests for documents should be
identified and their employment immediately terminated. Last of all, an
internal affairs organization should be set up to prevent similar corruption in
the future, and to ensure that all congressional requests for documents are
complied with promptly in the future.
