An article By Jeffrey Rodack

Donald Trump's re-election campaign accused CNN of censoring an ad detailing the president's accomplishments, the Washington Examiner reports.

The 30-second spot starts off with a commentator saying: "Democrats obstructing." A clip of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is shown.

The ad then goes on to say: "The media attacking our president." CNN's Anderson Cooper can clearly be seen in a collage of news personalities shown.

But it claims Trump's plan for America is working. And it cites the creation of one million jobs and the stock market at an all-time record high as just two of his accomplishments.

In an email to supporters, Trump's campaign claimed CNN blocked the ad and is "censoring the message to the American people that 'President Trump's plan is working.''

The 30-second spot starts off with a commentator saying: "Democrats obstructing." A clip of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is shown.

The ad then goes on to say: "The media attacking out president." CNN's Anderson Cooper can clearly be seen in a collage of news personalities shown.

In an email to supporters, Trump's campaign claimed CNN blocked the ad and is "censoring the message to the American people that 'President Trump's plan is working.''

“One of the many reasons that so many millions of Americans support President Trump is because of their complete mistrust of the mainstream news media, and the president's refusal to allow their biased filter to interfere with his messages," said Michael Glassner, executive director of Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. "Today, CNN provided further proof that the network earns this mistrust every day by censoring President Trump's message to the American people by blocking our paid campaign ad. Clearly, the only viewpoint CNN allows on air is CNN's."
